Hunting for methane with Katey Walter Anthony

University of Alaska Fairbanks Professor Katey Walter Anthony takes us onto a frozen lake in Fairbanks, AK to demonstrate why methane gas has "exploded" onto the climate change scene.

I had a chance to watch this program in "National Geography" ....Its very dangerous situation where we are now. 2/3 of the world is full of water and glaciers. They are made on top of thousands of years old wastes which generates the methane gas . when glaciers start melting, this gas will come out and explode...Just imagine it will be similar the movie "2010" scene. [ When Hero collects the map, explosions will happen. ]

We have to think about and spread this information to all the people and try to reduce the global warming.Otherwise we will have short time to live on this beautiful earth. nature will go on for further selection .

Infibeam Pi, India’s own e-book reader

Last week everybody in net talked about Apple’s ipad …Silently Indian based company has released India’s First Ebook Reader…It’s the good sign that We are becoming good competitor in this product market…..India is not only for outsourcing…we can also come up with technology products…..
Now India will see the launch of e-book reader as well, as the shopping portal Infibeam has come out with its Infibeam "Pi."
This comes as the first ever attempt by India to make its own an e-book reader. The creator of the product, Infibeam, at present provides over one lakh books for Indian readers via its portal http://infibeam.com.
With plans to add more books, the Pi seems to be better than Kindle as its users are provided with an impressive feature to upload their own content by the means of a USB. The users might also get a lot of newspaper and publications to the list of reading materials. The Pi, which is equipped with 512MB of ROM, also functions as a music player and supports up to 4GB of memory with SD cards.

Why Planning so Important ...

One Night, 4 college students were playing till late night and could not study for the test which was scheduled for the next day.

In the morning they thought of a plan. They made themselves look as dirty with grease and dirt. They then went up to the Dean and said
that they had gone out to a wedding last night and on their return the tyre of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back and that they were in no condition to appear for the test.

So the Dean said they could have the re-test after 3 days. They thanked him and said they would be ready by that time.

On the third day they appeared before the Dean. The Dean said that as this was a Special Condition Test, all four were required to sit in separate classrooms for the test. They all agreed as they had prepared well in the last 3 days.

The Test consisted of 2 questions with a total of 100 Marks.
