Infibeam Pi, India’s own e-book reader

Last week everybody in net talked about Apple’s ipad …Silently Indian based company has released India’s First Ebook Reader…It’s the good sign that We are becoming good competitor in this product market…..India is not only for outsourcing…we can also come up with technology products…..

This comes as the first ever attempt by India to make its own an e-book reader. The creator of the product, Infibeam, at present provides over one lakh books for Indian readers via its portal http://infibeam.com.
With plans to add more books, the Pi seems to be better than Kindle as its users are provided with an impressive feature to upload their own content by the means of a USB. The users might also get a lot of newspaper and publications to the list of reading materials. The Pi, which is equipped with 512MB of ROM, also functions as a music player and supports up to 4GB of memory with SD cards.
